Mission Trip to Colombia: the Aftermath - Sepsis
I watched my heart rate continue to rise, my blood pressure go down, and my Oxygen levels go down as well. Although she was terrified because I looked so bad, she put worship music on her phone and placed it on my shoulder. I asked her to pray over me, and she did. During that awful time, my ER nurse, Ethan, never left my side. He was attentive, professional, and incredibly compassionate.

Mission Trip to Colombia - Part 3
We arrived at the Hotel Finca in Mahanaim on Friday afternoon as rain pelted our bus windows. Other buses had already arrived, and one by one, the buses unloaded. None of our group minded the wait because it gave the rain time to stop. When it was our turn, we got off, retrieved our luggage, and went to find our room assignments.

Mission Trip to Colombia - Part 2
Today, however, we didn’t focus on visiting churches; this was our day to explore the coffee region of Colombia. Early Friday morning, we packed our bags, ate breakfast, and loaded everything back onto our bus as we headed toward Armenia and a retreat with 440 ladies! On the way, however, we visited several more churches.

2025 Mission Trip to Colombia - Part 1
I love Colombia, but I hate being away from my husband. Nevertheless, the more we talked and prayed about it, the more convinced Keith and I became that I should go. So the next time I saw Lorna, I told her I was definitely going, and we decided to be roommates on the trip – a wonderful, fun decision!
